Stressful prenatal diagnosis of the unborn child can trigger existential crises and lead expectant parents as well as us professionals into major dilemmas:
How can we help parents and their child in the area of conflict between palliative Care of the unborn child and termination of pregnancy encounter? How can we provide support when inhumane decisions are made? (have to) be felled?
What tools, structures and resources are helpful in these challenging situations? How can we work sustainably - especially in a fragmented and synchronised healthcare system that often ignores the distress these dilemmas can cause for professionals and those affected and the consequences they have for our society?
